Our psychologists at Humanity Allied Health take the time to help you understand your thoughts, feelings and reactions.
Together, you’ll work out practical steps that support your mental health and wellbeing.
Managing your mental health looks different for everyone. Our psychologists at Humanity Allied Health start by listening to what you want to work through, then build a plan around your goals. You’ll leave sessions with tools and strategies that fit your daily life, not a one size fits all approach.
If you’re accessing psychology through the NDIS, our team works with you to shape that support around your own circumstances and what you’re trying to work towards.
Our multi-disciplinary team at Humanity Allied Health is registered with AHPRA, the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. We are a registered NDIS provider and work with NDIS participants, their families and their support networks across a wide range of settings, from homes to schools to community spaces.
Our psychologists support people with intellectual and cognitive difficulties, learning disorders, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, stress and post-traumatic stress. Each person’s support is shaped around their own circumstances.
Our psychologists work alongside you, your family and your support network, not just with you in isolation. If other supports are already in place, whether that’s another allied health service, a school or a workplace, we look at how psychology fits into that wider picture rather than treating it separately.
Progress looks different for everyone. Some people are working towards a specific goal, like managing a particular situation better. Others are focused on day to day wellbeing. We shape support around what matters to you, not a fixed program everyone follows the same way.
Flexible, personalised care:
In clinic, mobile or online
Our Humanity Allied Health psychologists can see you or your participant at home, at school, in the community, in one of our clinics or via online sessions. We offer flexible service delivery to suit individual needs, preferences and circumstances.
Not everyone can get to a clinic easily. Travel, time pressures or personal circumstances can get in the way. Online sessions are often more practical, and open up support from psychologists who aren’t based in your area. If a clinic works better for you, we can arrange sessions at one of ours. We can also travel to you, where that suits.
Before working out a plan, our psychologist takes time to understand you properly. During interviews and assessments you are talking through your wellbeing, the supports you need or already have in place, how you think through things, your interpersonal skills and what you’re hoping to achieve.
From there, we build individualised intervention plan around your goals.
A psychologist can help you understand your own behaviour, thoughts, feelings and emotions. Day to day challenges often become easier to navigate once you have that clearer picture of yourself. They support you to:
