Occupational therapy is here to help you build skills and independence, whatever your abilities, so you can take a more active part in your everyday life.
If injury, illness or disability makes daily tasks harder than they used to be, occupational therapy can help. Our occupational therapists at Humanity Allied Health work with you on the everyday things you want to manage yourself. This might be showering, brushing your teeth or getting jobs done around the house.
Independence matters. Our NDIS occupational therapists start by understanding your day to day. We’ll talk with you about your routines, current limitations and any risks involved. We’ll also talk about the strengths and goals that matter to you. From there, we work together to build your independence and help you take part in the activities that bring meaning to your daily life.
Occupational therapy with Humanity Allied Health looks at what’s getting in the way of your daily life, and finds practical ways to work through it. This can include changes to your environment that make everyday tasks easier. We support you to reach your NDIS goals and build greater independence.
Our occupational therapists can work with you in a number of settings in regional and city centres, including at home, school, community locations, or via online sessions. Our services are provided in line with the NDIS price guide, meaning there’s no gap fee for you.
Flexible, personalised care:
In clinic, mobile or online
Our Humanity Allied Health occupational therapists can see you or your participant at home, at school, in the community, in one of our clinics or via online sessions. We offer flexible service delivery to suit individual needs, preferences and circumstances.
For some people, personal challenges, travel or logistics make online sessions a more practical option, with the added benefit of faster access to occupational therapists who may not be based in the same city. Online sessions can still cover practical strategies for daily tasks, and your occupational therapist can talk you through changes to your home environment in a video call. Alternatively we can travel to a location that works best for you, or where appropriate, provide sessions in one of our clinics.
You don’t need a referral to book our services.
Our therapy and allied health services can be funded through NDIS, Medicare or other government programs, or you can book privately and pay yourself.
Our services are provided in line with the NDIS pricing arrangements, meaning there’s no gap fee.
If you want fast access without paperwork, our private sessions put you in control of your healthcare journey. We offer flexible funding options to make therapy simple and accessible.
Our team can guide you navigating funding options.
