Associate Professor Dr Kylie Henderson, Founder and Managing Director of Humanity Health Group, established the organisation in 2013.
Dr Henderson holds a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology and has nearly 30 years experience in mental health and work. She obtained her doctorate in 2010, conducting studies in mental health, health and return to work. She represents the profession at the executive level at the Australian Psychological Society Clinical College and National Disability Services.
She is a Digital Health Advisor and Clinical Advisor for Medicare Mental Health Check In. More recently, she was recognised as an adjunct associate Professor at the University of Canberra, a research fellow of the University of Southern Queensland, fellow of the Institute of Employability Professionals, a fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts, a fellow of the Australasian Digital Health.
Dr Henderson’s interests lie in the fields of community wellbeing, technology and improved healthcare outcomes. With her team, Dr Kylie has built Humanity Health Group into a global business that has grown to thirteen brands, partnering with government and providers who share her vision to improve healthcare for current and future generations. Dr Henderson embraces the opportunity to provide expertise and insights into the ever-changing allied health sector and mental health reforms.
In her spare time, Dr Kylie loves to hang out with her family (including border collie, Harvey), enjoys travelling and plays competitive basketball and softball.
Fred is director and group CEO of the parent company
Humanity Health Group comprising of more than ten allied health organisations delivering health services and care across disability, aged care, employment participation, community health and more.
Fred is a registered psychologist with more than a decade of clinical experience. He has postgraduate studies in social health, a Masters in Business, postgraduate studies in Psychology and is a member of the Institute of Company Directors. Fred has held senior executive positions in the outsourced human resources and occupational health industries and has been recognised for his ability to grow and develop the profitable and forward-focused enterprise.
Fred is an ally and advocate for those who others would seek to marginalise. He passionately believes that economic participation is a valid and valuable psychological intervention that empirically demonstrates that people are better working than when they are not.
Fred is a loving husband and dad. He has collected comic books since he was a teenager and is a sucker for stories where good triumphs over evil and the most unlikely people overcome adversity. He lives to laugh and doesn’t mind shocking people from time to time.
After graduating from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Rehabilitation, and then Master’s degree in Physiotherapy through the University of Sydney, Jotika rapidly progressed to senior clinical roles.
From there, she moved into occupational rehabilitation and, shortly afterwards, to leadership positions within the personal injury and insurance industries.
Joining Humanity Health Group in 2022, Jotika saw an opportunity to utilise her skills in innovation and mentoring, to influence service development and tackle common sector challenges. With a drive for positive change, she is committed to supporting her teams to constantly grow their clinical practice and leadership skills, to optimise the outcomes for clients and customers.
